PhD student Antonella Lombardi will do a research stay in the laboratory of Nobel laureate Professor Randy Schekman at the University of California, Berkeley. Her stay is part of her doctoral project directed by Dr. Carlos Luzzani at LIAN-CONICET. The research will focus on the characterization of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells and their potential in wound healing process.
To finance this stay in the United States, Antonella won two scholarships that will provide financial support: a scholarship from “The Company of Biologists” and another from “The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.”
